At the beginning of 2024, Granola and Ukrzernoinvest launched a strategic partnership that has become a landmark event in the grain export industry. This collaboration united the strengths of both companies to efficiently enter international markets and ensure a stable supply of high-quality grain.

Joint Achievements: From Producers to End Consumers

The partnership resulted in the successful transportation of six grain shipments via the Izmail port:

  • Four shipments of wheat were delivered by barges to Romania.
  • One shipment of wheat was exported to Greece via the Talia vessel.
  • One shipment of rapeseed was transported by barges to Romania.

A key feature of this cooperation was the direct purchase of grain from producers. This ensured the quality of the grain, reduced intermediary costs, and provided transparency throughout the entire supply chain. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the logistics and commercial teams, the grain reached its final destinations on schedule, without delays or losses.

Overcoming Challenges in the Partnership Process
Organizing grain exports through the Izmail port required addressing several complex challenges:
– Logistics. Transportation was successfully arranged even under increased port load conditions.
– Documentation. All operations, including customs clearance and certification, were carried out in compliance with international standards and the requirements of end consumers.
– Contract Execution. All obligations to partners were fulfilled in full, regardless of market conditions or logistical challenges.

Strategic Value of the Partnership
The collaboration between Granola and Ukrzernoinvest not only strengthened both companies’ positions in the international market but also created conditions for long-term development. This partnership allowed:

  • Optimization of supply chains to ensure the timely execution of orders.
  • Expansion of grain export geography, particularly to Romania and Greece.
  • Strengthening trust among international partners due to the high quality of products and precise contract execution.

Looking Ahead
Granola and Ukrzernoinvest plan to continue developing their partnership by scaling up export operations and attracting new clients. Through their joint efforts and commitment to innovation, they have already laid the foundation for new achievements in the grain industry.
This partnership serves as a vivid example of how combining expertise, resources, and a shared vision can create value for all market participants—from producers to end consumers.
